Vincent Wilkes has been serving the Roanoke and New River Valleys with tax and accounting services since 2001. He started ePayroll Accounting Solutions in Blacksburg, VA in 2006 offering the first online, fully automated payroll processing system in the region. He continues to operate it today.

In 2009, he passed The IRS Special Enrollment Examination (SEE) to become an Enrolled Agent (EA). Enrolled agents are the only federally-licensed tax practitioners who specialize in taxation and have unlimited rights to represent taxpayers before the IRS.

Mr. Wilkes became licensed as a financial advisor in 2010 and holds the designation of Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC SM).

In 2011, he purchased an existing tax practice, and maintains the office in Salem, VA.

He graduated from Radford University 1999 with a degree in general business and studied accounting at New River Community College.

Career

Vince has a varied background in business. He was raised in a grocery store in Bedford County where he began pumping gas at age 9. He has worked as a radio announcer, professional photographer, and has owned several businesses, mostly in the sales and marketing fields. His love of small business lead him to want help others who have an entrepreneurial spirit. He feels business owners need to concentrate on what they do best and leave the tax and accounting matters to the experts. “It is easy to get bogged down in paperwork and lose the ability to focus on your work”, he says.
